They can learn to talk, albeit with a limited vocabulary and a gravelly voice. They like to be held, and can learn tricks such as lying on their backs and kissing.  These conures are great at performing tricks.  There is nothing they cannot do.  They can climb up ropes and rings bells, fly and receive objects, or turnaround.  Simple tricks such as waving, opening of their wings, or dancing can be taught.  The conure’s ability to do tricks is only limited to your imagination.  If you wish to train him use positive reinforcement to mold desired tricks or behaviors.

These birds like attention all the time (most but not all) they like to be close to their owner (s) and have their heads rubbed and if lucky may teach to flip over for a tummy rub as well.Some will allow rubbed all over head back chest under bill some wont.They love to climb, chew things,explore things, like a small box a small paper bag your shirt your hair, a tube, anything different than what's in there cage now is good for them as long as it wont harm them. Some will play their own game with you. Some will nip bite be destructive, if given the chance like chewing on things to close to their cage or if let out.some may talk if you take the patients repetition and enthusiastic attitudes needed to do so. some may do tricks if taught, some walk with harness if trained most will go to anyone if they offer it food, climb ropes ring bells do ring puzzles  fly to retrieve objects if trained,wave a wing (good by ) if taught, and dance if taught you have to teach these birds alot for them to do just like any other animal kept as a pet they don't know unless someone teaches them.
