I am considering planning a trip to Valencia, Spain. What can you tell me about it? Are the people nice? Nice spots to visit?

  1. i disagree with the others! the modern part is great (science park, aquarium, architecture by calatrava) but so is the old city, cathedrals, tapas, not many tourists (certainly not as many as barcelona). the people are more friendly than in very touristy spots, and there are some great places to visit just outside the city too - try albufera for the most laid back afternoon of your life!

  2. Valencia is the 3rd biggest city in Spain. At the moment they have the Americas Cup, so they did a lot for the city and the incoming tourists. Honestly, Valencia has not that much to offer, compared to Barcelona, Madrid or some other places.

It is worth a 2 day visit. The cathedral has a museum which is said to have the only, by the Vatican recognized, Holy Grail.

People are the same like every where in touristy places.

  3. VERY nice! I am from Madrid but I get along very well with people of Levante, the east coast. They are open people, they like to party (a lot!) so there's plenty of life!! You can enjoy paella, it's their best meal, which is great by the way. You can go to the beach, there's very good weather there.

Here you have its official tourism website:

    besos!
