  1. Evl225 is pretty funny....but, seriously, tho, the comment from the other poster about cans of spray, etc., is not accurate.  I live on the Windsor-Detroit border and cross frequently for overnight trips and they have never once confiscated hairsprays or anything like that.  That policy is in effect for air travel as it could possibly be a sign of some form of terrorist activity on the plane.... i.e. blowing it up...they are not as concerned about that for a land crossing.

The Canadian Border Services agency website will set out specifically what you can bring across and what you can't.

  2. you have to be more specific as to what it is your interested in bringing in... try this site

  3. T-shirts, Pants, Shorts, Sweaters, Socks, Underwear, Deodorant, Toothpaste, Toothbrush, 1 blanket/and or sleeping bag and 1 pillow (100% cotton, none of that 60/40 cotton polyester pillows, you will be in deep trouble if you do). Lastly you are allowed to bring 3 cans of soup along with you (Make sure its Campbell's, I had some buddy's who went across with some other soup and found themselves with hefty fines).

    Hope this helps!

  4. the canadians arent to picky you obviously cant bring explosivies across but when your coming back over is when youll get harassed (im assuming you going from america to canada) so dont bring any weapons and since american government is stupid dont bring lip stick body spray or pretty much all the stupid stuff you cant take on a plane.
