  1. You can use baking soda and water to make a "paste". But it won't taste too good to your kitty and it won't be so easy to brush her teeth if what you're using tastes bad to her.

But it's better than not brushing.

When you can, it's best to use a toothpaste for cats, at least it will have a flavor they will enjoy.

  2. Hi there... the best product to brush a cat's teeth is with a product specifically created for cats.

Baking soda is a leavening agent. A leavening agent is a common ingredient in baked goods that produces a gas causing batter and dough to rise. Baking soda is simply sodium bicarbonate.  Ingestion of baking soda  can lead to electrolyte abnormalities (low potassium, low calcium and/or high sodium), congestive heart failure or muscle spasms. 3. ok here it goes dry kibble.

Garlic powder: add a bit of theis spice to lukewarm water and use that to moisten the bursh . most cats and dogs love the flavor

Bouillon: you can also try dipping the brush in chicken or beef broth

Tuna water: cats especially like a toothbrush moistened with water from a can of WATER PACKED TUNA just dont expect your cats breath to be minty fresh afterward

    hope this helps

  4. I give my cats dental treats.

  5. they make special animal tooth pastes, don't use human toothpastes

  6. Never use tooth paste made for humans on your cat, which can contain detergents that can give your cat an upset stomach if she swallows it baking soda has sometime been suggested for use. Huge selection of dental care for your dog and cat at dresslers dog supplies dog toothpaste, toothbrushes, and mouthwash by virbac, petrodex, triple pet, and nutri-vet.

  7. How about a baby brush?:)

  8. Regular toothpaste is poison to your cat, so don't use it. Go to the vet and get toothpaste for your cat. You should also get a special cat toothbrush because our toothbrushes are too hard and can make your cat's gums bleed horribly and that will hurt your cat. Also try going to Petco or PetSmart.

  9. Baking POWDER is a leavening agent...Baking SODA is just what we used to call bi-carb. You can use it, made into a paste, but it is really too much salt for a cat. Please take our advice and buy some cat toothpaste.
