  7. Ooh Lucky You. Well first off you can buy many things in Nepal. All the places listed are in Kathmandu -

If you're more into the ethnic side of things you should visit Thamer/Thamel. It is like a big market with lots of large stalls and shops. You can buy buddhas, nepal t-shirts, hand made bags, hand made bracelets, pashminas and lots of things that look like they have culture and a history to it.

If you want to shop for normal priced clothing with a vareity of shops and food shops go to the United World Trading Centre. They have english clothes and saris. They also sell mens clothes. If you want to wear something for everyday use go there.

If you've got more money hen go to New Road. This is like a hotspot for tourists and foreigners. There are really good food shops including Neerala's where you can eat amazing burgers and Baskin' Robbins where they have delicious ice cream. The shops at New Road are more up market and cost more.
