  1. depends on what ship you are on. I would suggest looking at the specific ships on the ship's website.  The ones I have been on have had clothing, jewelry, liquor, and souvenir shops. I recommend going to this site to learn more http://cruises.lovetoknow.com/wiki/Cruis...

  2. Princess ships have clothes, jewery, nicknacks, toiletries, camera's and film, booze, and drug store stuff. Everything you need, they pretty much have.

  3. depending on the size of the ship it differs, but most ships have the same things: typical souvenirs, (shirts, hats, pajamas, shorts, stuffed animals, shot glasses, photo frames, postcards, cigarettes, alcohol, sunscreen, aloe, toilletries), perfume, jewelry, and sometimes they'll have tables set up where you can make your own jewelry or they have designer purses and bags, or designer watches

  4. The shops are small and only carry a small range of items. Some clothes ,sunglasses, jewellery etc and toiletries. These can be very expensive. The best thing to buy is perfume. On some nights they have special offers on certain goods ie watches, chains etc - watch out for these.

  5. postcards, sunglasses, film and a good stiff drink

  6. As others mentioned, you want to shop in the ports. Depends where you're going, but you can get GREAT deals on all sorts of thiings in port.

Clothing on the ship is expensive. Makeup and perfume is somewhat discounted, but not much.

Cigarettes and alcohol are much cheaper, but you're not allowed to take the alcohol with you - they "hold" it for you til your last night on the ship.

Enjoy the ship, shop on land !

  7. On the cruise ship itself you can buy bit and pieces that you need for going on your excursions, such as sunglasses and handbags. There is normally a confectionery shop too and some gift shops selling watches and jewellery.

Depending on your cruise operator there may be themed shoping days. On my last cruise depending on the day of the week, certain stalls would be set up.

It may be "Perfume/Aftershave Day" or "Soft Toy Day."

And it goes without saying that the Bars are open practically all the time for drinks.

However, the best of your shopping will definetely be off the ship and on the shore. I have never really bought much on the ship itself, as it is not really there for shopping. Yes, you get the usual airport duty-free like shop, but to be honest, if your on holiday, save your money for the stops! There will be loads of shops at your port of call - remember how many tourists visit these places!

Finally, from experience, shopping off the ship costs less than onboard.

    Hope this helps.
