And is it true that if you have a Masters Degree many jobs will accept your resume even if you don't have a degree in their field?

I'm looking to branch out.. I just don't know which direction I want to go in yet. I need as many alternatives as you can think of, please.

  1. Many non-profits, NGOs etc. Research institutes and hospitals. It's a pretty broad degree. You never know till you try applying -- you should ask the HR departments of where you want to work - you'd be surprised.

  2. a friend of mine has her degree in social work and she works in hospice care.  she loves it.  she hated working as a social worker.  but yeah, as far as other jobs accepting your degree no matter what the field... they just wanna see the piece of paper that says you paid big bucks to go to college.

  3. yes because your degree is in helping people so you can get many jobs actually.. like customer service.. human resources.. stuff that deals with people and thats mostly many jobs..
