  1. It depends upon why it was denied and by whom.  The Financial Aid Office usually has a written appeal process that should note what you can do about a denied decision.  If the appeal was denied by a committee and the appeal process says the decision is final, you may not have any recourse at all, unless you have proof the decision either didn't take all your circumstances into consideration (you may just need to appeal again with all the information) or if the decision was unfair for some reason.  Then you can appeal to the Dean of Students, or whatever office the Financial Aid Office reports to.  This is a last resort, though...and shouldn't be done unless you have good reasons that are not being considered.
