  2. Skiing, white water rafting, hiking the wilderness, every kind of outdoor sport. Sailing, going to the beach, seeing the geysers and hot springs. Museums and Maori cultural sites. Eat lots of fresh fruit and products from the farm, and fresh seafood, too.

    I live in the South Island but there's plenty to do everywhere.

  6. What CAN'T you do in New Zealand!  If you can think of it, it is there. Things you might not see elsewhere...glacier hiking on the west coast, wild dolphin and shark swimming in Kaikoura, fly a small plane yourself with the Kaikoura flight club,  beautiful touring of Otago pennisula, Caving in Waitomo, Rope courses in Taupo.....

    Stop at the local tourist centre in each City. They are fab and will provide you with everything you could need to know.
