What can you do in rome?

my parents are going to Italy this summer and their wondering what to do in Rome (their staying rome for 2 days

There is so much to do and see in Rome you would need a month to see it all.  with only two days, the top spots are, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Forum , Colleseum, St, Peters  and Vatican Museum, Palantine HIll, Circus Maximus, Pantheon, Piazza Navonna.

They should get a good guidebook and figure out what they want to see.

You have to see the sights! There are so many, also, rome is a very romantic city so tell them to have a good nice night out...especially if they stay there for only 2 days! hope they have fun!

You can visit the 7 or 8 hills, which are supposed to be very nice. Basically you can visit all of the historic sites and just have fun. You can probably find a nice tour guide.

go to the Vatican and climb the 551 stairs to the top of the dome..also if you are there on wed. i think the pope gives an address. i would skip the Colosseum..it was disappointing
