  1. well in rhode island  all i can say is newport an jamestown it is so nice there but only in the spring and sumer

  2. Aside from the obvious? ;)

You might look into Lake Placid, New York, it's supposed to be really nice too ... if you're looking for an outdoorsie kind of honeymoon.

  3. I would think sailing would probably be the most fun thing, if you don't get sea sick.

But the Met Musuem is beautiful, and huge you could get lost in it for days. And the Guitenhiem is pretty and has tons of exhibits.

In Mass. you could take walking tours of Boston, visit the red sox field, go to Havard and sit out on the lawn, just enjoying the colors. If you're willing to go in land a bit to Philly, you could check out the liberety bell and the worlds oldest prison which are awesome, if a bit scary. (think of it as an excuse to hold hands and cuddle in public)

  4. We're honeymooning in Manhattan and Vermont because we both lived near Manhattan for a few years, and used to visit all the time, and went to Vermont a few  times as well and always loved it there.

We're spending about five days in Vermont first, and are planning on horseback riding, packing picnics, getting massages, breakfast in bed, hikes, etc. Just a lot of relaxing and bonding with nature.

We're spending our last two days in New York, and we plan on visiting a lot of the places we would go to when we lived nearby. One of our first dates was in Manhattan, so we're doing a lot of the things we did that day (nothing fancy, pizza, certain stores, etc.). We do want to do lunch at The Boathouse, though, in Central Park. We've always wanted to, but never had the money, so we're really looking forward to that. If you wanted to honeymoon outside the city, though, we lived in the Hudson Valley region for three years, and LOVED it. Wineries galore! And it's so beautiful in the fall - not sure when you're getting married, though.

Mostly, just enjoy being together. So many people have told me not to plan too many activities because most of the time, you'll just want to go for long walks, talk, enjoy the first few days of being married.

    Congratulations and best of luck!

  5. New England is beautiful. I've been to all kinds of things up there. Caverns, mountains, tubing in rivers. There used to be a Ben an Jerry's factory in VT that you could tour and maple syrup tours you can take. Just look online or get a hold of the chamber of commerce where ever you want for info on tourist attractions and fun stuff to do. Also, whale watches in Maine I hear are wonderful!! I've always wanted to go on one of those!!

  6. Maine is the pretties, live in Boston. I got engaged in Maine
