What can you do other than swimming when it is realy hot in California?

I am in El Cajon, California and am VERY board of just swimming.

Leave your air conditioned house to get into your air conditioned car and drive to an air conditioned store.  I used to live in Southern California and everyone has A/C.  Most people are inside during the day in the summer because of the heat.

Get a job

Answer 4

Go read a book.  Go to a movie.  Go to the mall.  Clean your room.  Do an inside project.  Vacation in Northern California.  Dream about snow.  Learn something new.  Host a party.  Start an on-line business.  I don't know, use your imagination!
