  1. I had a bad one and Noxema helped

  2. I almost used an entire bottle of aloe vera on my legs when I got a terrible sunburn 6-8 hours directly in the sun on the water.... about a month ago.  My friend told me the key is to use it then rub it off every hour or two he is a red-head and pale white so he should know about burns.  Anyways I found that way to much a hassle and didn't do it.  Funny thing is my legs took much longer to heal then my upper body which I barely used that much aloe vera on.  When I was younger I remember Noxema helping but when I tried it on my recent burn it just irritated it and was tuff to wash off,  Sorry this isn't much help but I couldn't find anything when I was searching the web with my last burn.  For some reason I thought drinking lots of water was good advice as it would hydrate the skin but didn't notice any pain relief.  I also took to drinking heavily to give myself some relief because I was in so much pain.  Hydrocodone would give you pain relief as well if you have some left over... from an old injury.

  3. a lotion with vitamin E in it.

    Depends on your skin type.

If you have sensitive skin or not.

  4. Soak in a cool bath that has baking soda in it. Also take tylenol that takes the burn out of it. You can also put vinegar and cool water in a bucket and put washrags in it and then place it on the burn. That will really help take out the heat of the burn.

  5. I use Oil Of Olay for sunburns.  It sooths and moisturizes the skin so that you don't feel so dry and crackly.  I discovered this one time when I had been in the Gulf Of Mexico and burned to a crisp.  I didn't have anything in the middle of the night when it really started to hurt so my husband said we should try it.  I've not used anything since.  I didn't peel as bad as I always had either.

  6. Take cold showers and put on a lot of lotion. If you don't rehydrate your skin by putting on lotion and drinking a lot of water, you will start to peel. There's not much else you can do.
