  1. It sounds silly, but I have a lot of house plants.  NASA studies showed that they can help reduce indoor pollution (which is needed during the winter).  I have also 'saved' two apple trees and planted them in my yard. (The orchard went out of business and sold off all their trees. I bought two of them so they wouldn't be destroyed.)  I also garden.  I bought a composter and now all my kitchen scraps get composted, which cut down on the amount of garbage I throw out. I also do the basics like recycling, and reusing a lot of things. I also try to combine all my errands so I do them all in one trip instead of taking several trips.

And silly as it sounds, I use the library a lot. I get movies, books, and music at my library. So I save gas by not going to three different stores, but I'm also sharing resources with others.

  2. Al Gore is a w***e and a phony one at that.

  3. I am starting to grow some of my own food.  I try to buy as much local food as possible.  (both of these things help to prevent some of the pollution that the food causes from being trucked in from so far away) Sometimes I buy organic clothing. (reduces the pesticides)  I belong to an environmental group.  I try to buy only what I need.  For example I have a cell phone but it is very old, but it still works so why would I buy a new one and get rid of a phone that works. So many people I know when their phone plans expire they get a new phone!  The pollution from the manufacturing of the phone would be really bad, but now they have created this pollution many times for each phone they have.  I try to live simple.

  4. Don't be wasteful, especially concerning how much you drive. Treat every piece of ground like it's your own, and clean accordingly (Obviously, don't go trespassing). Recycle, aluminum in particular. And most importantly of all, realize that you and your descendants have to live on this planet.

  5. Dont drive, buy organic things, recylcle, walk or cycle everywhere, switch off electicity switches, turn off things you dont use or turn it off when you are going out, dont burn things, dont cut down trees, grow vegetables or plants, yurn down the heating when you dont need it, dont recylce rubbish bins - re-use them, teach others to be envirmentaly friendly!

  6. burn car tires to heat your house
