What can you do to reschedule a visa interview missed due to being gone one vacation ?

The notification was mailed to me on Dec 28, during the christmas holidays, at this time i was in mexico with my wife, i returned to america just in time to miss the interview and have sent many letters but they will not reply from the Juarez mexico consulet, the NVC here in the states said that they can't help me because the consulet in mexico is in control now, if i can't contact them how do i fix this problem, my paper work will all expire in june of this year as i'm sure they know very well, and how is it that the government was at work during the holidays to send out that interview notice, could some one tell me what i need to do next, thanks

You are complaining that the government is working too hard and has inconvenienced you during your vacation?  Regardless...
