What can you do when a fish has swim bladder disease?

my male platy trying to have somme peace and quiet in the plants but he keeps on floating back up what should i do?

Cook a pea, peel it, mash it, feed it to him.

If he's all the way at the top its going to be too late

Give him some mashed peas, (dehulled)

and fast for 2 days

This should help to clear him up.

If that doesnt happen to work then you'll have to resort to medicinal treatments.

Try doing a water change and see if that helps.  Sometimes swim bladder problems are caused by poor water quality/high nitrate levels.
