  1. Dealing with CRA's is typical of dealing with any large corporation. They are understaffed, and most don't give a d**n.

They do however have rules to follow,(FCRA) and if you follow the rules on how to dispute items, you will get results within 30 days of your disputing them. It does no good to call, go on line or just write them a short letter telling them to remove the item.   They need it done in a concise manner. I have used this procedure many times for myself and others and always get results.

Here is a link to the FTC on the proper way to dispute entries. Remember though, if the item has been verified by a creditor to be a valid debt, then you can't have it removed until the reporting period ends.

    Here is the link

Download a pdf file regarding how to dispute with CRA's

    Hope this answers your question.

  2. You need to prove that the information is "wrong."  Negative information, if correct, cannot be removed.

  3. dispute the information for one if they still wont correct it try contacting the person  over the account some time they will contact the credit agencies for you and that helps you to get it corrected
