They say they mailed my husbands' packet several months ago, but he never got it. So they sent another one last week, and he didn't get that one either. Can he just go to the American Embassy in his country and pick it up?

  1. Ask to The Mexican next door to you

  2. give them the right address

  3. is the address correct?

  4. Ask to speak to someone with more authority.  There HAS to be a reason you are not receiving the visa packet.  Either the address is wrong, they have a problem in their mailroom, there is a problem at the post office, or someone is stealing your mail.

I would ask someone in a supervisory position if you could pick it up, but you should be concerned about the two "missing" visa packets.

  5. Check your address with the embassy. They maynot have a correct address.

Call them and ask if you can go and pick up the package by yourself.

  6. Yes, i think you can do it. just go to the embassy and ask them for another packet. If everything is alright with your husbands visa they should have it in their computer, which is easy enough to print.

  7. Maybe you should check to see if they have the correct address...

  8. Is the postal service in his country unreliable? I've dealt with that just a little bit, but it was only a waiting game. They might come eventually. Maybe he can get them from the embassy or have them sent by certified mail?

  9. Call the Embassy he should be able to pick it up there.
