What can you do when you move your dish reciever and it does not get a signal?

i moved my dish reciever to another room and connected it and everything but it does not recieve a signal. i have tried to re-install it but nothing has worked so far.

Have you checked the wires going into the dish? Check ALL of the connections. Did you maybe move the dish when you moved the wires to the other room?

Some installers only hook up to wire going to the jack you want. You will need to check outside, in the attic or a closet to see if the other wires (coaxial cables) are all hooked up. If not get a splitter for Wal-Mart, Lowe's, Home Depot, etc. Good luck
