What can you do with a degree in communications?

You will do a lot of writing, Public Relations, presentation and speaking, design, even mass media like TV, Radio and News classes.

In my opinion, I would try to get a bunch of internships while you're in. I would take Design too. Almost all the jobs want some sort of design experience. Even if you're doing something like News writing they want a jack of all trades. It's a very versatile degree.

Be careful though, you want to research the jobs that are out there and then take the classes that they are looking for. With the economy right now, Communications degrees aren't so hot, so you have to be careful what you choose while you're in. Goodluck.
