I know someone who has a degree in elementary Ed. but she doesn't want to be a teacher. What can she do with that particular degree? Or would she have to go back to school and major in something else?

  1. I know 3 people that have teaching degrees that never used them.  One person works at Boeing, one person worked for the State and another is now a belly dancer . . .

  2. If she can write, she might be able to write books for elementary school students.  But other than that, not much.

She can go back to college and get a masters degree in a specific field she might want to teach.

  3. go bak 2 school

  4. Unfortunately, we live in an era where we are pigeon-holed by our degree.  She could go to a temp agency and get her foot in the door at a business and maybe move up the ladder as she proves her worth as a good employee.  Shame she wasted her time and money on a degree that is useless to her.  I suspect she will be returning to college for a new degree.

  5. What was the point of getting the degree then?

Anyway, he/she can probably move up the chain of command at Target stores or something.  Go front-end managers!
