  3. veggies are better than fruits, and greens are the healthiest. you can just pull grass out of your lawn if you really wanna. i used to feed mine lettuce and carrots. but basically everything is alright

You can feed it anything that is not hot (ie: peppers, onions, garlic...) Since hamsters are desert rodents, you should feed it more veggies, than fruits, or they are likely to get diarrhea.

  5. You could give your hamster most of the fruits and the veggies out their but make sure its not messy because my hamster always makes a lot of messes

  6. Small amounts of just about anything is fine. Just make sure you are not feeding him/her to many things with high sugar content such as grapes, apples, carrots, strawberry's, and so fourth. Two things that you should never feed your hamster are celery and peanut butter. Celery is very stringy and it is hard for your hamster to digest, along with peanut butter because of its stickiness. I always find that a single rasin is a wonderful treat for your furry little friend! :]]

  7. You have some good answers and some good links to proper fruits and veggies for a hamster.  The easiest fruits and veggies to find in stores (always good to know!) that are safe for a hamster are listed here: http://www.popularpets.net/hamsters/feed...

I did want to emphasize the fact that although these items are essential for a nice balanced diet, they should not make up the bulk of the diet and should only be given in moderation.  Three times a week is about the amount you should offer fruits and veggies.  Any more than this has been found to lead to wet tail (diarrhea) which can be fatal.

  8. I DO NOT TAKE CREDIT.  I got it from here.
