I recently taped the Women's olympic game between the U.S.A. and Australia. What should I watch for if I want to be a good player? One of the ideas I have is to watch the on-ball and off-ball defense. Do you have any other ideas to add to this one? Thank you!

    how to box out someone

    how to steal an block

  2. your correct the best thing you can notice is defense. Watch how they play help and rotate. A good thing to do is to key in on one really good player and see what she is doing at all times. You can pick up on why she just did what she did or what she should've or could've done right there. If you play post you can learn alot by keying in o both offense and defense. I like watching the point gaurds handle the ball under pressure as well and how they pick and choose when and whre to make a play

  3. How to play basketball

  4. First notice that nothing can be as effective as practice and you can't be a player as u yourself expect until you practice on your own and find out how to play; but anyway watching, too, is a good opinion to improve your way of playing.

Well, watching professional basketball teams & players play in such important event, can help you imagine an overview of how a basketball game is played in your mind. You can see how defense stands in front of the offense and vice versa, how and when a shot should be attempted so that it goes inside the basket with more percentage, how a fast break is committed, what u should do in critical situations in order not to lose your morale, and much more. Also you can learn some offensive and defensive plays and plans.
