What can you not do without an Xbox 360 hard drive that could you otherwise do with it?

In other words, how essential is it to having an 360? Will the 360 still have at least minimal memory?

you need  the hard drive for some  games  (shivering isles  for instance)  

to store downloaded content mp3's  movies demo's market place games  

to play xbox 1 games because they expect a  hard drive to be present and to  go online

with out a hard drive  you need  memory cards at  64  mb or  512 mb
