  1. ink cartidges

  2. cardboard. i moved from one council that takes it away and another that doesnt and they both use the same recycling plant.

  3. AllyT's answer is good.

I don't think I'd want more things to be recyclable but I would want more products to be made from recyclable material.

And I would also like products to be made from recycled materials.

I say it every time but it's so important, there is absolutely NO point recycling if you then go and buy products made from brand new materials.

    Complete the circle people!

There would be no need to recycle plastic bags if everyone used cotton, no need to recycle the little plastic trays your fruit or sausages come on if you buy local in season produce from farmers markets or butchers.

I think more time needs to be spent on educating people about environmentally friendly ways and reducing waste rather than opening more facilities to deal with waste.

  5. I wish more people would recycle plastic bottles more often. Because, they just end up in landfills!!!!! Sorry I didn't answer your question right, but it would be awesome if people actully did that.

    sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

  6. plastic bags

  7. products with food on them. I feel like I'm using a ton of water to wash out cans and bottles, and you can't recycle pizza boxes when they have a ton of food stuck in/on them.

  8. Certain plastics.  "Yes we recycle plastic, just not *that* type of plastic.

  9. Used light bulbs

  10. Yoghurt pots - they are the 'wrong' kind of plastic.  I try to avoid buying things in packaging which can't be recycled or reused, but I fail here.  Of course the pots can be reused for planting seedlings and other uses, but there's only so many yoghurt flower pots you need!  Tetra paks is another one - facilities are hard to come by.  Luckily our council have just installed recycling points at various points in the borough, so I save them up and take a trip once a month, but  not many people do this.  More and more things come in tetra paks nowadays, I'd love to see it being collected kerbside.
