What can you plant a strawberry in??

i am trying to start a strawberry garden. what do you plant them in

you can either plant them straight in the ground,about a foot apart, or in pots, it really dosen't matter. if you plant them in the ground,put some straw around them so when the stems start to grow they will keep clean, otherwise plant them,a few to a container and they will grow over the edge. they are easy to grow.

Plant them in good, rich, organic soil.  Once they are in the ground, you can put mulch, straw or wood chips around them to maintain the moisture and prevent weed growth.
