  8. Filipinos are very hospitable, friendly, kind...and man, can they cook! They really care about hygiene and like to take a bath in the morning and in the evening. They are very intelligent, able to learn quickly. Filipinos are not indios chonggo (stupid monkeys), as the Spaniards would say. They like to socialize with other people, and have impacted the world in more ways than one. Take the national heroes, for example. :) Filipinos are also very hardworking. Oh, and religious!

But Fils also have negative traits, like colonial mentality (preferring imported goods than their own kind), crab mentality, not so good on discipline.

  9. Filipinos are fighters.  Filipinos are achievers.  Filipinos are survivors.  Filipinos are world-class.

  13. Well, I guess it's kind of racist to make generalizations about a people as a whole, but when I was living in Japan I met a number of filipinos & filipinas & my impression was excellent people--warm-hearted, courageous, highly moral. If I didn't know anything else about a person except that he/she was from the Philippines, I would start out with a favorable attitude.

  14. My relative recently married a woman from the philipines and i absolutely love her.She has such a happy outlook on things that makes everyone else feel good and her cooking is the best.I have only good things to say about them.

  15. That I am one. :)

  16. PINOYS ARE HANDSOME AND HOT..

  17. friendliest people on the planet, and they all can sing!

  18. They need to make their country grow a better economy. If your Filipino it doesn't really matter what you think how you are because 9 times out of 10 you're going to give a positive answer. You need to look at the real picture and help your country. So that everyone can benefit and improve their lives. Try asking this same question in another country. Sure you'll probably get negative comments. You may not care but you actually have to care because other countries have a much better economy than the Philippines does. Say you came to live in the U.S. to get a job and provide for your family. Obviously the U.S. has a great economy probably the best and the U.S. provides plenty of opportunity. But then the only problem you have are the U.S. being so diverse in nationalities, they think of Filipinos in a negative way. It's so bad that you want to come back to the Philippines. Well if you go back to the Philippines, what are you going to come back too? There is no economy, no good jobs, you'll start from square one again, and much more. So people you need to look at the negative and embrace it and change it. It is good that you are proud of what you are and hey I salute you. But you young people need to come together and make your country for the better. Over here in the U.S. the two Asian countries that gets admired the most are Japan and China(even though it's communist). I sometimes go on the Japanese side to answer some questions. I have noticed so much that a lot of people from the U.S. are always asking to got to Japan, what is the culture like, how can I move there, it's such a pretty country, and much much more. These are people from the U.S. But when I go over to the Philippines area. I never see anyone from the U.S. say the same things that they would say about Japan. If I've missed some it's probably only a couple. The only people that want to go to the Philippines are those perverted guys that want to get laid because they can't get none in their country. The U.S. loves Tokyo's economy and economy is the answer for the Philippines.
