What can you say about the Filipino people?

I'm 2/3 Filipino & I've seen a lot of Q&A's here about Phils or Filipino mostly from the Filipino's point of view. I want to know from the wider global community as to what can you say about the Filipino people.

  1. well iknow that the woman is in charge of the famly and i know that they fight alot especially not here but in the state of hawaii and they try and be mean there cauwe i lived there 5 years theyarent' very friendly.


  2. A lot of them like to hang out with Whites and claim Spanish ancestry when they don't look one bit White.  

  3. What do you mean? My best friend is Filipino, and he's a loyal, excellent friend....but I can't really make generalisations about all Filipinos based on my one friend....

  4. To me, they're very nice people, I was in the Navy, and spent a little time in the Philippines and everyone I met was very nice.

    Uhm, every Filipino I've ever met was very nice and down-to-earth. I've noticed that many Filipinos love to sing (especially slow songs and R&B music) and most of them are good singers.

    I also think that they're beautiful people and that they have some features which are similar to people of African descent.

    Filipinos are cool!

I've known several Filipino guys when I lived in LA.  I found them to be very loyal in friendship if they like you.  They were hard workers and I remember from History the Filipino people fought against the Japanese in World War Two.  They're OK.  Oh, and their women are pretty good looking too.

    Anyways, I'm half Filipino so obviously I'm going to say that we're pretty cool people :)

    Edit: So that makes you 5/8 Filipino, not 2/3. By blood that is.
