What can you say about the economy of singapore?

It seem to be good on news and papers.

How true I am not very sure.

What I see:-

1. Dish collector, cashier, drinks server etc in hawker central and coffee shops.

Many had been changed to foreign worker, so what happened to those local worker who was there?

Pack up and go home?

2. High income - maybe for the top people only, we have people taking around 2m a year.

Or many of them taking more than 30K a month, which is around $1000 per day including Sunday and public holiday.

But, dig out few month back newspaper about Chinese garden MRT case.

All the money he have was only enough to buy few packet of chicken rice.

3. Many more, but I have no guts to list them.

The outlook for the Singapore economy should look favourable as projected by our able leaders and its team.  Most Singaporean are able to own a public housing, a car and a family what else you looking at?
