I would like to enroll my 3 yr. old daughter into something that's fun and age appropriate and something her and I could do together as well possibly. Can you make any suggestions? Thanks!

  1. Find out what your local area offers. A good place to start is googling "kindy gym", "swimming lessons" or "kids art/craft lessons" and searching your local area. Also find out if your child's preschool or playgroup can recommend any activities.

What does your child love to do? What is she good at? If it's something physical, then perhaps dancing or kindy gym (which is an activity that encourages parental involvement).

Local play centres and shopping centre community notice boards often have information as well.

There's so much out there to choose from - hope you find something she will love! Good luck :)

  2. soccer

  3. I was just researching the same thing.  My daughter is 3 years old, and she is very active.  Since becoming pregnant (i'm 36 weeks) I haven't been able to keep up!  I looked up what kind of activities I could put her in that would be good for right now, and would also be good for after the baby is born where we can all join in.  I found Gymnastics to be a GREAT idea!  She loves to climb and tumble and swing and gets such a kick out of it.  Plus, when the baby is born I can do a "Mommy & Me" class with both my kids :)

    Good Luck!

  4. Swimming fun but very handy skill to learn/have.

  5. There are gyms for young kids that help them also educationally.  You would also be there with them so your daughter and you would have a good time!
