I am flying from there tomorrow and was wondering if electrical items like straighteners were allowed in your case or if they have to be in your hand luggage?

  1. in case to be on safe side

  2. i flew back from liverpool today, which is very similar, you can take most things aslong as their not fluids or flamables such as lighters. you can take electronics such as phones and ipods but you must switch your phone off. but you can buy fluids once you get through passport control. if you go on the persons website your flying with it will probably give you more detail.

  3. http://www.manchesterairport.co.uk/manwe...

    See if this helps.
