What can you take in your handluggage and what cant you and what are you not alowed to take in your suitcase.?

Well basically what i said in the title but are there important rule to remeber its my first flight x

See the TSA site below for all info.  Anything not specifically prohibited, is allowed.  Liquids you want in your carry-on must be no larger than 3 oz. bottles all put into one 1 quart size zip-lock bag.  Other liquids of any size may be in your checked luggage.

in your hand-luggage (or carry-on) you can bring fluids and lotions under 3 oz and sometimes/usually when you're going through security they ask you to put your fluids in a ziplock bag.

in your suitcase you can ideally anything except flares, gun powder, and obviously chemicals and explosive things
