You can begin with biography.com, just to establish what he was doing or even if he's still alive. Then you're ready for a search engine. Google and Yahoo have a fatal flaw when you're dealing with the relative of someone famous--you're liable to get "Warhol" or "Warhola" in one line and "John" in another.
