  3. They are very cute. Some of them bit. Some of them like to be hold. All of them are different. They like to chew on things so get some wood toys and some cardboard. Some toilet paper is also good for them  to chew on but they go through it pretty easy. Make sure to feed it once or twice a day. Always check to make sure it has some water. Always check in the summer. Never let it outside. Maybe get it a food bowl. Make sure it has some toys. Get a book on gerbils from the library. Or at the pet shop. Remember gerbils need lots of love. Make sure the cage is close. If it gets out check under beds and in corners. If you have a dog or a cat and ur gerbil got out you may never ever see it again. That means ur dog or cat might of eaten it. But look around for a will. You can also ask a vet for some more info on gerbils.

  4. Gerbil r very stubborn when bought at a pet store. hand  training takes weeks. They r very cute! but r frisky and don't absolutly loved being picked up unless the trust u. They could make a good pet for a p*****n but not for kids under age 9. I will never let my 7 year old brother pick up a gerbil again! he dropped it and it broke its legs! gerbils r not as hard to take care of as bunnies. the cage could be cleaned every 2 weeks at the longest. but beware if gerbils aren't held enough they'll bite u as hard as they can when u stick ur finger in the cage. this habit can be broken but only by gaining trust.
