Question:

What can you tell me about my 1991 Gary Fisher Procaliber?

It's got the Tange Prestige tubing, all original components except for front and back wheels, and (I think) the GT handlebar, and is in immaculate condition mechanically. Physically, the bike is in great condition except for a few scratches on the frame--no rust or anything of the sort.

I'm curious about any details about the bike. I've pretty much exhausted internet sources and haven't found much of interest.

Also, roughly what would it be worth?

Thanks.

  1. The frame has a value.

I cannot comment on the parts as you have offered no information on them.

That is a handbuilt steel frame. It is worth at least 200 dollars in my opinion if it is not with a bent derailleur hanger.

[measure the size]Any bike shop can help with this for free.

The GT handlebar has no real collecter value that I am aware of.To my knowledge the only GT component [besides good old frames] that has value is their titanium bottom brackets with replacable sealed bearings.

I hope my lone opinion can be of some assistance to you.

    p.s. great old steel frame[priceless]
