What can you use for inspiration when you're drawing or sketching something?

My inspiration is making the subject I choose to look even better.  I like going into EVERY detail in a person's facial features and I get inspired to draw subjects that have a lot of facial character (wrinkles).  I actually enjoy drawing when I'm alone and it's quiet.  Drawing takes a lot longer than painting for me, so when I'm drawing I just can't wait to get to the point I think it's actually finish....  :)
