  1. If your prone to getting water in your basement then it's best NOT to furnish your basement. If it is for storage. then place cinder-blocks with wood.... making a shelving type system.

    Or just use the blocks to put the furniture on....but limit the amount you keep down there.


  2. you can put them on pallets, or you can even try crates. If it's going to be there for a longer time try using cinder blocks, they should hold the weight better, and easier assembly. Good luck with your project!

  3. Aluminum coke  or beer cans as "socks"
