I am looking at purchasing a Canon HD Digital Video Camera in a month or so.

In doing research I have been looking at a few models. The Canon Vixia HF10/100 (flash memory one has internal with expansion slot, the other has no memory built-in). OR the Canon HV series (which records to mini DV). Also looking into accessories (ND filters, wide angle lens/telephoto lens expansion.

Anyone own these cameras? which would you recommend and why?

  1. Which one costs the most? Which one has the features that you need?

  2. I bought an HF10 about 2 weeks ago....I love it!  The only downfalls that I dont like from a bigger, more expensive cam is all but made up in the much cheaper price and the HD quality.  I did my research and for the price for what you get...it's worth the investment.  E-mail me back if youve got anyother questions....Im currently cutting my first work with it, and it looks amazing....you could go on youtube and use hf10 as a keyword and some people have sample vids they did with the cam and it looks amazing.
