What cant be shiped through the United States post office?

i have not been able to find any information on this subject but i am mainly wondering if i can ship ia bottle of rum to a friend through the United States post office?

No, Alcohol cannot be shipped by the post office.  In fact, some states don't allow the shipping of alcohol at all.

The United States Postal Service regulations does not allow alcohol to be shipped thru them, also any items deemed a hazard or illegal are not allowed/
