I have a 93 Doge Colt GL, and I'm looking to buy a cheap cd player for my car on E-bay. How do I find out ahead of time what cd player will fit my car before I buy it?

  1. Go here:

    www.crutchfield.com

They have an online tool that you can use to find radios that will fit.

  2. Juat about any regular size CD player will fit.  You will need and installation kit for it though to fill in the open areas around the new player.

  3. when i went shopping for my headunit, i went to

    CRUTCHFIELD.COM

so easy to use. type in your car info, answer a few questions about your stock stereo, and your on your way.

they will show you all the stereos that fit.

it may be a bit pricey, but IF you decide to buy from CRUTCHFIELD each stereo comes with an easy step-by-step instruction manual, and an easy install kit.

(did it myself. looks Pro. and saved a hunk of change.)

  4. it doesnt matter if its smaller as long as its not bigger you can buy a installation kit and it comes with the part and you can buy it at best buy for 15 bucks or less

  5. www.crutchfield.com thats where i buy my suff.

  6. Ant standard din sized radio will work in this car. An installation kit and wiring harness are needed for the install. Just to let you know the parts that i usually use are from Metra and the part numbers for them are 99-7001 for the dash kit and 70-1743 for the harness. Most aftermarket stereo shops will have these pieces in stock. As far as the radio goes, try to stay with a known name brand. You always get what you pay for. Hope this helps.
