  1. Allstate, Farmer's (although their rates are a little higher)

  2. Best for full coverage, or minimum?  Best for two drivers, or one?  Best for a low credit score, or a high one?  Best for "full coverage", or minimum coverage?

There's no short cut.  You have to shop around, to see who's cheapest for YOU.

  3. See this http://gsx1.com/InsuranceComparison.html take the quote, they'll come back with prices from different insurers in your area. It's very quick and free of charge.

But to find a cheap price you should get several quotes, do some legwork till something better will come along.

  4. Consider this auto insurance company, i heard they offer the best rates for you.

  5. That depends on you.  Each company makes different components a higher priority (ie, driving record, previous insurance history, credit history).  For each individual one company may be cheapest, but the most expensive for somebody else.

If you don't have any tickets or accidents in the last 3-5 years, then you can probably get a great rate with State Farm, Farmers, Allstate.  If you've had some blemishes on your driving record you may get a better price with Progressive or Geico.

To make it easy on yourself you can just get two or three quotes.  What I would suggest would be getting a quote from Allstate, one from State Farm and then one from a broker.  A broker would be an insurance agent who works for numerous companies instead of just one like a State Farm or Allstate agent.  They're usually agent offices without an actual insurance company name....like Johnson Insurance Agency or Las Vegas Insurance.  Those places can shop you around to 15 or 20 companies and tell you which is cheapest (but they can't give you quotes for Allstate, State Farm, Farmer's, etc).

    Good luck.
