Are you refering to the WRX STI? If yes, it is faster, since it offers 100 more horsepower. If it's the base model, then the Si takes the crown. As far as 'better'.....it all comes to personal taste. The si is cheaper to mantain, better overall fit and finish, cheaper on gas, and has a more intricate dealership network. The subaru excels in raw performance, and maybe better aesthetics.

Faster-WRX because of 227HP turbocharged 4 cylinder engine.

Handling-WRX because of AWD

Reliability-Honda, but Subaru is very close. It is the third most reliable brand, while Honda is number one most reliable brand in the world.

the subaru hands down !! more h/p more suspention,all wheel drive and very fast for a stock 4 banger . the 2.5 is incredibly fast... the honda doesn't stand a chance next to a wrx...

for a cheap car - Volkswagen GTI (200horsepower, much better than the civic, not as fast as the subaru but still better!!!)
