  1. For a first car you want something reliable, right? Nothing is more reliable than foreign cars. Stay away from Ford, Chevy, and American brands...you'll end up regretting it the first time you have to have work done on it.

Any Japanese models will hold up well(Toyota, Mazda) but i dont think they're neccessarily the best looking. You're best bet is probably a Volkswagen. Jettas, and passats are good looking and reliable as h**l. I used to have a black Jetta with a turbo on it and it lasted forever. Thats the other thing, theyre easily modified if you want to soup them up.

  2. If I had it to do over, I would have picked a honda, subaru or toyota... hate to say it but these companies really do have the best used car statistics...

(My first car was a Buick and it broke down a lot).

  3. Kia Sportage 2008 (the silver one)

  4. I would prefer Honda or Toyota.

I guess you should also check insurance quotes for the car before buying one, for example here: http://carinsurance.yoll.net

First time drivers usually have much higher rates than others. And it depends from car.

  5. honda civic

  6. honda

  7. Honda Jazz/Fit or a Fiesta, MX-5 or MR-S Spyder
