well obviously the cheapest car to modify isnt the best car. but, a civic can be modified very easily and for very cheap. ive seen tricked out civics take on v8 mustangs and even vipers. I have a tricked out harley davidson f-150, with a brand new rouch engine, new comp, supercharged. it has 565 horsepower, it also cost about 30 000$. you can get the same horsepower from a civic for about 8 000$. hope this helps
