What car should I get for commuting?

Hi, I'm in college right now and I have 1993 Infiniti J30t that I commute to college. The only problem is it's a HUGE gas hog for a car that is a 3.0 V6 that its rwd. I get about 15MPG running on premium and highway. I spend around 100 dollars a week on gas. I was thinking of getting Audi A4 with a 1.8t, but those have absolutely NO power unless a shell out $6000 for a stage III turbo upgrade and its hard to find a 3.0. I was thinking of getting an Audi A6 2.7t because my dad has one and it runs great. He gets around 19-21MPG highway which isn't too bad considering it's an awd, heavy, twin turbo charged car. However, those cars have high maintenance fees, but its more on electrical problems rather than mechanical. What should I do?

  12. Your looking for a commuting car but only listing out high end cars, they do not go hand in had. German cars are eletrical nightmares I have owned 3 and all 3 were nightmares all were brand new, Audi(the worst) Bmw and Benz. You want a great traveling car that wont cost much and run forever get a Honda plain and simple will run forever and get 30 to 35mpg. These cars with all these mods are money pits the high school and collage kids get sucked into, you end up placing thousands into a car that isnt with d--k the minute you drive off the lot. This should be your 1st economic lesson cars are not an investment unless you are buying a one of a kind for over 500k and plan on never driving it. They are worth 20% less the minute you drive off the lot and once they hit 90k miles they are wothless to any delaer so they go to whole salers who smacks bondo on them and trys and sell them of like a pimp with a beat up over aged hooker.

  13. Toyota or Honda. Older moden with good mileage and no car payment.
