What car/suv to get?

Question

I'm torn between getting a 4runner for the snow, aor a bmw 5 series just to be flashy... i really cant make up my mind? Would i regret buying a bmw? I have one kid!

Don't get an SUV - get the 535d. You'll never want to get out of it, the engine is so torquey and powerful for a diesel, yet smooth and refined, and the mileage is awesome.

Unless you live in Alaska, the Beemer will handle the snow just fine with a set of snow tyres on it. And it'll have a way higher resale, and it's much nicer in every possible way and gives a better impression to other people as well.

no you will not regret buying the bmw. i would. you dont need 4 wheel drive for the snow. i have a 97 ford escort and i do better than many suv's in the snow because i have snow tires for the winter 3 months. (i use performance tires when its not snowing lol). u only have one kid so u dont need and excessive amount of room.

well the 5 seris does cost more but the only thing really that will bug you is the premium gas now the 4runner i own one its not great . oh and the mpg isnt that good ethier!!!
