What car would you get? BMW, MERCEDES, VOLVO OR AUDI?

I LIVE IN GERMANY AND I WANT TO BUY A CAR THAT IF MAYBE ONE DAY I CANT PAY AND HAVE TO SELL IT, I WOULD MAKE SOME MONEY BY SELLING IT.( IM IN THE MILITARY AND WILL BE MOVING BACK TO THE STATES EVENTUALLY)

be aware foreign cars are not ready to drive in US, they need different blinkers and exhaust systems.

buy a BMW or MB

avoid all Audis & Volvos

If you are living in Germany then the most recommendable thing to do is to buy a local brand. In between the three you are giving Audi is my favorite then comes BMW and last Mercedes. But before BMW and Mercedes, I would put the Volvo.

Well, there are somethings you should consider first if you are planning to use your car to get money back. I recommend that if your plan is to regain your money you should first save and buy a cheap and reliable car such as a Toyota or Mazda. Then you should save that money and put it in a bank account to generate interests. That at long term will give you more money than buying an expensive car and then selling it. Cars devaluate pretty quick and not to mention if is not in perfect conditions. All cars wear fast and scratches and bums will start to appear and that is less money. Then comes out the new model and it devaluate twice and so and so by the time you are willing to sell it (say 2 or 3 years the car will cost at least 60% of its brand new price. So is not of a good idea. I hope this helps.

If you plan on taking the car back to the US, then be aware all the brands you list are not reliable. I work at an aftermarket warranty company, and I see TONS of claims on German brands. (Volvo's not really German, I know.) Parts and labor for German cars are both waaay higher here.

You can find a nice affordable car without getting any of these brands. When you do go back to the states, any kind of maintenance would be very expensive.  Why don't you buy a hoopty, and then use all the money you would have spent on other things you want. Go on a trip, buy a new computer, ipod touch, presents for you husband, stuff like that.  You'll hardly ever make any money selling a car, They just lose their value too fast.
