  1. The Lancer cause its faster. Drive both and go from there. Buying  New is dumb because the moment you drive it off the lot it depreciates 15%

  2. The Mitsubishi comes full loaded and its faster then the honda. THe honda does not come full-loaded and you need to pay extra for the features the Mitsubishi comes with standard. Just compare, Mitsubishi is now equal to reliability to Honda according to online reports. Good Luck...

  3. It doesnt matter about the look cause u can upgrade it. it doesnt matter if it is fast. it just matters if u can get used to driving the car and if it is comfortable. You should also have in mind that oil prices have gone shooting up. so ask the dealer which is more fuel efficent, by this i mean like it doesnt take in that much gas. I pretty sure the Mitsubishi takes alot of oil cause its fast. but it depends on your comfort and your the one paying for the gas.. Hope you make a smart decision...

  4. Going from a Civic to a Lancer is like going from In-n-Out Burger to Burger King.

If you enjoy reliability, resale value and good build quality, I would stay with Honda or Toyota.

You will beg for your current vehicle back if you trade it for a Lancer.

  5. Based purely on keeping its value the Honda, as soon as you buy the Mitsubishi you will have negative equity in the vehicle. I used to sell used cars, lots of people will buy a used civic but nobody wants a used lancer. Also the civic is much more reliable than the mitsubishi. The Lancer is considered a throw away vehicle, you will never get the value out of it.

  6. I see you like coupes, why not try a Mustang. Step up a bit. i know you're used to the fuel economy as i have been with all my Hondas. The Lancer is more of the same. the instruments and the logic of controls may seem awkward when you first use them. Think outside the (economy)box.

If you must have a car good on fuel, try an Accord coupe or an Altima coupe.
