  1. Look up the Power Nine cards from Magic: The Gathering. All well over $1000 each.  Even if you buy a new booster when a set comes out, you can go and resell those cards for more than the $3-7 you paid for it. Not to mention the fanbase for MTG isn't going anywhere.
