What card stock weight is best for making greeting cards

  1. I like 80 lb.


  2. The heavier the paper, the better.  It really depends on what you will be adding to the cards.  If you will be layering paper on top of it, it probably would matter because that would make it sturdier.

    But if you are adding a cross stitch piece or cut outs, I would go with the heavier card stock.... at least 80.

  3. Most good card stock is between 98 and 111 lb stock.

    Of course the heavier, the higher the price.
